Chittlehampton Chapel

The Village

Chittlehampton is a small village of about 1000 people just off the B3227 about 4 miles from South Molton travelling towards Umberleigh. As well as the Methodist Church there is the Parish Church of St Hieritha, a Primary School, Village shop with a Post Office and a Pub.

The Methodist Church is situated at the bottom of the square opposite the Parish Church in the centre of the village.

Sunday Worship

Weekly at 11.00 a.m. and 6.30 p.m.

The Sunday School (shared with the Anglicans in our schoolroom) takes place on the 2nd and 3rd Sundays of the month.

The Chapel membership about 30 with weekly congregations of 20 -25 plus holiday makers from the local camp site and holiday cottages

A Prayer Meeting is held every Saturday Morning between 9.15 a.m. - 9.45 a.m.

Tea Time is a friendly get together over a cup of tea and a biscuit and takes place on the first Wednesday of each month starting at 2.30 p.m. - with a free and easy “come and go as you like” structure.

A Coffee Morning takes place on the first Saturday every month, from 10.30 a.m. until noon, supporting both chapel funds and charities.
